In September 2022 Jamie played Apollon and Tityé in Vache Baroque Festival’s production of Charpentier’s La descente d’Orphée aux enfers (1686), directed by Jeanne Pansard-Besson. Jamie also sung the bass solos in a pop-up performance of Carissimi’s Jepthe.

“Jamie Woollard was double-parted as Apollon and Tityé. He possesses an attractive bass with a strong resonance, which he employed intelligently in crafting his lines, which possessed both emotional depth and beauty.”

- Opera Wire, 19 September 2022

“Jamie Woollard was a relaxed Apollo, deflty tossing three juggling balls aloft as he encouraged his son to grasp his mission.”

- Opera Today, 2 September 2022

“The other singers achieve conspicuous success…for the mellifluous blend they attain when performing in ensemble for the choruses. The plangent trio of damned souls, Ixion, Tantalus, and Titye, is particularly notable in that respect.”
